It is not the first time I have crocheted a baby blanket using this pattern from Attic24. It goes together very quickly and I love the look. As you might have guessed this blanket is going to a baby boy and I have yet to crochet one for his twin sister. These two darlings are suppose to make their appearance sometime in October! The yarn I used was Red Heart Soft and hook size J. I also did a finishing border with a single stitch in the dark blue. I'm please with the way it turned out!

We love our garden. It's small this year but we were still able to squeeze in all sorts of things. We've planted tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach, lettuce, potatoes, sweet banana pepper, bell peppers, carrots, dill and green onion. The girls love helping me in the garden and I think it's a great learning experience for them. Here is a photo with some of the fruits of our labour:):) Spinach, lettuce and potatoes!!
These photos were taken the first week of July and I totally forgot about them. My girls had two of their friends (sisters) over for a sleepover and what better thing to do then to roast marshmallows before bed:) After a full day of fun and then staying up late they fell asleep without a problem:)
